It occurred to me that these tiny little journals, could spark joy in others…

The intention is to sprinkle creativity. They are easy to carry in a pocket or purse and can quickly capture an inspiring idea, doodle, sketch or quote.

I am having fun creating them. They are available at The Art Collective at 51 Cordova St. St. Augustine, FL or contacting me directly.

Have you ever wondered how the Artist within you works—how your creative essence reveals itself, or why certain patterns emerge in your artistic process? You’re invited to embark on a transformative journey to uncover and claim your unique Artist DNA. This isn’t just another class; it’s an immersive experience designed to help you recognize the deeper rhythms of your creativity and connect to the artistry that flows through you.

A small group of participants will be the first to explore this 3-month journey at the start of the new year. Will you be one of them?

If any of these resonate, consider “The Sacred Artist’s Journey: Embodying Archetypes to Transform Your Creative Destiny in 90 Days”:

  1. You Feel Creatively Stuck: Your artistic passion is dimming, and you're tired of self-doubt holding you back
  2. Inspiration Feels Elusive: You struggle to connect with your authentic creative voice and meaningful expression
  3. Creative Inconsistency Frustrates You: You start projects but rarely finish them, leaving a trail of unfinished dreams
  4. Your Inner Critic Dominates: Negative self-talk and fear prevent you from fully expressing your artistic vision
  5. You Crave Deeper Meaning: Your art feels surface-level, and you know there's a more profound story waiting to be told

Therapeutic Power of Art

  • Engaging with art promotes healing by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression while boosting immune health.

Cognitive Enhancement

  • Creativity sharpens problem-solving, memory, and brain adaptability, fostering cognitive resilience.

Biological Necessity

  • Creativity is an innate human trait, essential for emotional and physical well-being, rooted in our evolutionary history.

Universal Human Expression

  • Art transcends cultures as a shared language of connection, expression, and meaning-making.

October 2025 Behind the Scenes Photo back layer Completed piece Portal in process I had long wanted to try Wen Redmond’s holographic printing technique—the way it layers light and image always felt like peering into another realm. I finally braved it, and with a little ingenuity (and a touch of beginner’s magic), I created a small piece that feels like a shimmering window into another world. “There’s No Place Like Home” is part of the S.A.F.E. Animal Rescue fundraiser now on view at The Art...

Behind the Scenes Becoming Artist of the Month at The Art Collective Gallery was both exhilarating and daunting. I realized that as many pieces of art that I have laying around, they would not hang well together. I suddenly had to produce 12–14 new works in just three and a half weeks. That deadline stirred up all kinds of inner voices — the survivor archetypes showed up in full force. The Victim complained there wasn’t enough time. The Saboteur whispered that I’d never pull it off. The...

Behind the Scenes Where the Maps End (in progress) I’m fortunate to be a member of The Art Collective Gallery. In 3 weeks, I will be the monthly featured artist. Not having a lot of time to prepare for this, lots of things are surfacing for me. How quickly can I create pieces? How much am I affected by the “commercial” aspect of being in a gallery? Is there a way I can simply my usual way of making larger pieces with a message? At first, I thought I could quickly do studies of color or...
